Overview:

 

At Gain Inbound we are looking for a Motion designer to join us in our growing production team in Muscat/Dubai. Gain Inbound is the agency for now, challenging advertising norms, pushing creative limits and changing the experience for both client and audience alike.

 

​The task at hand:

​

We are looking for an experienced and creative motion designer who can craft engaging content ranging from TVC’s to Instagram stories. You will be working alongside our creative team to shape films from the ground up as part of larger campaigns. Gain Inbound is a leader in social-first content, so you will need to have knowledge of trends and best practices in short form productions.

 

Because of the range of campaigns and productions we handle, you’ll have experience in different formats and how to include them in production workflows. You will have experience in fast-paced environments and be able to push projects forward in a positive, creative manner.

Core responsibilities include:

​

• Create engaging graphic animations for a diverse array of media

• Prepare conceptual layouts for the motion project.

• Work alongside the edit team through different workflows to ensure the best possible end product.

• Support the design and illustration team with photo editing, bespoke illustration and icon design.

• Overall management of projects, often on tight turnarounds and tight deadlines. 

• Ability to work on your own and as part of a team. You need to be well-organised, efficient and self-motivating.

• Advise producers and creatives on production problems and spot problems ahead of time.

• Working closely with producers, art directors and account managers to understand the project scope and to ensure the smooth running of each project.

• Keep updated with best practices and technical specifications on social platforms.

Desirable skills:

​

• Highly proficient experience in After Effects and how graphics fit into the post-production process.

• Experience with Photoshop and Illustrator, and other Adobe Creative Suite tools

• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere and C4D are advantageous.

• Excellent communication skills with your colleagues to highlight challenges, offer creative solutions and make informed conclusions in a fast-paced environment.

• Exceptional project management skills and the ability to work at a fast pace.

• Ability to prioritise assets and deliverables. 

• The capability to manage both internal and client feedback in order to exceed expectations.

• In-depth understanding of the whole post-production process.

• Ability to adapt your skills and approach to a broad range of project types from TVCs to social campaigns. 

• Empathy with your co-workers in order to support them through the process.
